A field trip to The Berry Farm gives students space to see agriculture up close, ask questions, move, play and experience where food and farming begin. Each visit balances a farmer-led educational experience with plenty of time for students to enjoy the farm together.

Throughout the school year, the landscape changes with the growing season. Depending on the time of visit and crop availability, students may encounter experiences such as pumpkins, strawberries, sunflowers and other seasonal agriculture.
ROOM TO MOVE + PLAY
Room to Move + Play
A big part of the day is simply giving students room to be outside together. Field trips include time to enjoy many of The Berry Farm’s play areas and farm experiences.

MIDDLE + HIGH SCHOOL EXPERIENCES
Not Every School Day Has to Feel Like School.
Give older students room to get outside, spend time together and enjoy a change of scenery. The Berry Farm offers flexible daytime experiences for middle and high school groups, senior classes and schools looking for something different from the traditional field trip.
SENIOR PICNICS
Give the graduating class a day to relax, celebrate and spend time together before the school year ends.
CLASS + GRADE-LEVEL OUTINGS
Bring students together outside the classroom for a daytime experience with plenty of room to gather.
END-OF-YEAR CELEBRATIONS
Mark the end of the school year with food, outdoor space and time together at the farm.
MIDDLE + HIGH SCHOOL GROUPS
Create an outing appropriate for older students without trying to turn their visit into an elementary field trip.
YOUR SPACE FOR THE DAY
Pavilion space can provide groups with a central place to gather, eat and reconnect throughout their visit.
THE FIELD TRIP PACKAGE
A Lot Fits Into Three Hours.
Typically scheduled from 10 AM–1 PM, our three-hour field trip brings together farm experiences, outdoor play, an included meal, a small milkshake and a seasonal take-home item—all for $20 per person.

One take-home item is provided for the entire group, selected by The Berry Farm based on season and availability. The item offered may vary depending on the date and time of your visit. Options may include: one small pumpkin, 1 lb. of strawberries, one mini jar of honey, or three sunflowers.

An approximately 10-minute agriculture-focused educational conversation.
ALTERNATE PACKAGE
Bring Your Own Lunch
Schools may also choose a field trip package without food, allowing students to bring their own lunches.
