Educational Farm Field Trips, School Picnics & Daytime Group Experiences in South Florida

The Berry Farm offers one of South Florida's premier educational field trip destinations, combining agriculture, outdoor adventure, seasonal experiences, and hands-on learning on a working family farm in Miami's countryside. Available from September 16, 2026 through May 2027, our school field trips welcome preschool, elementary, middle school, high school, homeschool groups, camps, churches, scouts, and community organizations looking for an engaging outdoor educational experience.

Every three-hour field trip includes a farmer-led educational presentation introducing students to agriculture, sustainability, and where food comes from, followed by time to explore the farm's seasonal attractions and outdoor amenities. Throughout the school year, students may experience pumpkin patches, South Florida's only 5-acre corn maze, strawberry picking, sunflower fields, hayrides, and other seasonal activities while learning how farming changes throughout the seasons.

Each field trip package includes lunch, a milkshake, a seasonal take-home item, and access to many of The Berry Farm's most popular attractions, including hayrides, three giant shaded bounce floors, the lumber playground, obstacle course, corn pit, open green spaces, and seasonal photo opportunities. Every visit is designed to balance education, outdoor recreation, and memorable farm experiences.

For older students and organized groups, customizable school picnics and daytime brunch packages are also available and include complimentary use of a party pavilion, subject to availability. These experiences provide a relaxed setting for student celebrations, academic organizations, youth groups, and community gatherings.

Enhance your field trip with one of our most popular student experiences. For just $5 per student when added to a field trip package, students receive a 3 lb. paydirt bag filled with gemstones and an educational gemstone identification postcard while enjoying a fun, hands-on introduction to geology and earth science.

Gem Mining add-ons are available exclusively for students participating in a field trip package and are not available for teachers, school staff, parents, or other adult chaperones.
